Dashboard Upgrades

Hello everyone,

Recently I got some time to look into something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and that is to setup a proper dashboard for myself via Grafana.

Check out the link for more information on the software but basically it’s a fantastic application that lets you take data from a variety of compatible sources and configure elements on a dashboard that are both eye-catching and informative.

A large variety of community generated dashboard exist ready to use but Grafana enables you to have full control if you decide to utilize one of these already made dashboard or if you start from scratch.

Some plugins come standard with Grafana but additional methods of visually displaying the data from the source you specified are available on the Grafana.

While I won’t be putting up any screenshots to avoid needing to keep a sharp eye out for anything I’d need to keep private in terms of user data however so far two of the individual dashboard elements are visible on the dashboard which are the total WAN bandwidth and the heatmap of the times the server is in use by what amount of people. Both of these should give you a better idea of when server load is low and bandwidth is plentiful.

Along with those additions, you may have noticed in the bottom right of this site and the dashboard, a chat option is available to contact me for support.

That’s all for now!
