The spam began the second the site was created, users need not be created this blog is strictly informational.

Step 1 is coming up with or finding (more likely) a little plugin that will tell you if the plex server is up or not.

Update: Used UptimeRobot for my monitoring. Once I’m back at home I’ll be creating a DDNS entry for my system so that the monitor will have more than a dynamic IP address to monitor for consistency.
