Its Alive!

Its 6 AM, and I got about three hours sleep since I’m sick as a dog so what do I decide to do? Well automate the TV show downloading as you may have noticed last night Game of Thrones was available on the Plex before midnight.

Any missing episodes in the entire TV Shows library will hopefully be filled in by the end of this week. Please do bear with me as the server may be a bit slow for a while. If I get enough complaints I’ll dumb down the synchronization and let the streams flow.

As of now I am utilizing roughly 65% of my download bandwidth with the upload being fully intact with the exception of more frequent writes to the Plex Database which will be causing spikes in the latency and therefore performance of the playback.

However the good news remains that the TV shows are filling up and the new episodes are constantly monitored for release and subsequent download and Plex cataloguing for your enjoyment.

Oh and on a side note I doubled the capacity of the hard drive where the Plex media content resides since a lot of content is going to be gracing it these next few days.
