No Internet Upgrade Yet but More Storage Space

Hey everyone,

Well it turns out that the service mentioned in the earlier post is not available in my specific building yet and as a result can’t be upgraded to for the time being, but rest assured that as soon as it becomes available to me I will acquire it!

In other news I finally got the NAS to utilize the expansion chassis as I wanted and as advertised. Apparently with the expansion units, one needs too create a new RAID group prior to the storage pool being able to expand which doesn’t make much sense to me but whats done is done and now we currently have 44.29 TB of usable storage space spread across two RAID 6 arrays consisting of ten 4 TB disk and six 4 TB disks which will soon be upgraded to 10 disks as well to make for a total of around 58 TB of usable space with two disk fault redundancy per RAID group. Not too shabby.
