Software Upgrades

Hey everyone,

I recently found some latency issues when running all the required software off the NAS where all the files are stored so I’ve moved some stuff around and I’m pleased to say that performance is great and everything is purring nicely.

We’ve ditched CouchPotato for Radarr for movie indexing and it’s been a real joy thus far. Requests is fully compatible and has been tested to be working so you probably won’t even notice a change but the performance here is better and the UI is cleaner making for an easier time when working with it for me as well as requiring less work in terms of configuration and automation.

If you run into any issues please report them to me via the contact page.

Next, Plex has updated recently and included a much sought after feature for myself. Simultaneous stream limitation settings. No more murdering my poor logfiles!

Everyone is limited to a singular stream at any given time.

Lastly a special thanks to the two users who didn’t hesitate to send in a donation within minutes of receiving my email and thanks to anyone who even considered donating. It goes a long way!

Cheers,
