The Move

For existing members, you have already been informed via email of this however this post will be for historical purposes.

Come the end of the month, we will be physically relocating the servers and upgrading our internet connection to provide an improved level of quality to everyone.

Please note the below dates indicating downtime…

Saturday, September 28th, 2019 – All equipment will be shutdown for cleaning and preparation for transport

Downtime will extend following the shutdown on the 28th and follow through until Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 which is a tentative date as there is a considerable amount to do to achieve this

Once the move is complete, I’m proud to announce that we have arranged for a fiber optic connection directly to the network which will enable us to continue to aquire new content at light speed (over 1 gigabit per second) however as a result of this upgrade, our upload speed will drastically increase to nearly one gigabit as well which will certainly make for a better user experience as currently, out upload speed sits around 50 megabits per second, a mere fraction of what we will be upgrading to.

It has been a long-time goal of mine to acquire access to a better connection where we can truly provide a high-quality user experience with minimal disruptions and maximum possible quality and I am very proud to finally be able to achieve this.
