We’ve Moved! | More Storage, Ahoy!

Good day everyone,

No, you’re not in the wrong place, we’ve just moved.

This is part of that ongoing effort I mentioned some weeks ago to kind of bring together the various bits and pieces so to say of the network created over these years a bit closer together and more centralized.

As you can probably guess, the goal is to centralize around the Lightspeedta.co domain and make use of the Wildcard aspect of our SSL certificate.

You should find everything to be the same just with the new URL which was chosen as Nobreaks.ca was always intended as a development blog more than anything initially and it was something I definitely wanted to preserve and maintain.

If you have any issues including something I somehow missed during relocation like the contact us page not co-operating, the old inbox will still work but going forward will deposit form entries to my domain specific email address.

Secondly, the storage array has been expanding for weeks now. It’s one of the downfalls of the setup I’ve chosen to employ from the filesystem type to the RAID hardware utilized, perhaps it could have been done differently but in the interest of as much uptime as can be provided, it took it’s time and was able to serve users as usual while in the background making space and rearranging the existing data in preparation for the usage of the soon to be expanded array.

The reconstruction portion of the process is complete at this time and we are about a day away from actively utilizing the newly added hard drive’s storage space to open up requests once again.
