Hey everyone,
From the start of Nobreaks.ca and the Plex Media Server, I’ve been taking care of and expanding, scripting, everything, that you know and love now. But along the way I always had someone to bounce ideas off of and testing things with.
One of my best friends and one of the smartest individuals I know, blackglitch, will be taking the role of Commander of the U.S.S Nobreaks.
Now, we had a chat one day and decided to randomly assign a type of rank to everyone we knew relative to their contributions through me to Nobreaks.ca and we went with Star Trek/Starfleet ranks. Where I was at the time Captain LightSpeedTaco of the U.S.S Nobreaks, blackglitch became Commander immediately under me and while we lived together, he would be my eyes, ears and hands remotely in my absence.
Now if you’re wondering why I was not Admiral, it’s because I was not funding Nobreaks out of my pocket exclusively but rather a group of individuals who shared my ideals of sharing media.
Now, it’s all mine however I don’t feel Fleet Admiral is an appropriate title for myself as I don’t really own a fleet. As far as I’m concerned every member owns a bit of Nobreaks as everyone who uses it, keeps my hobby alive. Therefore you, all of you are the Fleet Admirals, Admirals and so on. I am merely your Captain, piloting the server and its contents where you call for.
So, as acting Captain as the U.S.S Nobreaks I hereby appoint blackglitch, the rank of Commander, with the knowledge and trust I bestow in him, I feel he is an excellent first addition to the team.
He has already been briefed on the details of the server and systems and I’m sure he will make an excellent Commander. After all he’s witnessed the birth of Nobreaks and given input that has brought Nobreaks.ca to it’s current state.
That all said. Welcome, Commander blackglitch of the U.S.S Nobreaks!
Any contact form messages will be sent to both myself and blackglitch so now we hope to assist you faster.
