Hello everyone,
Last night Plex was down for an extended period of time without my knowledge and this was due to some confusion among the Multiplexor Adapter used by the system to mitigate network card failures.
The main IP used by the system is MAC assigned by the router making for the wrong IP being assigned to an adapter not in the multiplexor adapter group.
The issue has since been mitigated and all is well.
My apologies for the downtime, usually my implemented monitoring software notifies me within seconds of failure however this one slipped through the net.
I’ve since tightened monitoring up to avoid further issues.
