Large Additions to the TV Section and a Minecraft Server

Hello everyone, As you may have noticed, there have been a significant increase in the number of TV Shows (mainly anime) but also some regular shows. I’ve finally completed the American Dad! collection and I’m quite proud of that as it proved to be a difficult sum of episodes to total up. So please, enjoy! I also have news related to an addition to the site. I’ve added a small minecraft server available to those who wish to participate. TNT and Creeper explosions do not destroy blocks but damage players still. The spawn is protected with a 16 block radius zone  but other than that it’s pretty vanilla despite being Bukkit based. Please ensure you are using the correct version of minecraft as Bukkit isn’t quite up to date as Minecraft itself. You can find the URL and status in the menus at the top left of the list of links on the main page or below. You can also connect via lightspeedminecraft.mcpro.co I am a nut about saving the map so griefing is planned for but please try and play nice. I do all this and lose money every month but enjoy the work it gives me to do… Read More »Large Additions to the TV Section and a Minecraft Server

New Additions to Movies Section | Fixing Broken Apart Movies | Uptime Not Reporting Accurate Uptime

So we’ve got a few things to cover this time so lets start with the new additions. I’ve located both all the Fast and Furious movies for your enjoyment as well as all of the Police Academy movies which I’m thrilled about so I hope my joy reaches out to you too.   The anime continues to slowly flow into the TV section. It may be seperated into its own category however it is essentially TV aired content so we’ll see. Next, I noticed that parts of movies were split into two or more parts which I’ve begun to remedy and replace so that your viewing experience will remain unbroken. In specific I noticed that the Pirates of the Caribbean movies were split up and I’m fixing that now. If any other movies are also split, please let me know so I can attend to them. Finally, it seems that Uptime Robot has been incorrectly stating that the Plex Media Server is down when in reality all is well. I’m looking into this so please rely on a manual check if the server is available or not for the time begin. That should be it for now! LightSpeedTaco

A Day in the Mines – Is it Still Profitable?

Hello all, So, Bitcoin’s been around for some time now, we all know that. The concept of a currency without an asset to boot might seem foreign  to some. For example gold, physical gold, is tangible, is difficult to find, process and purify and it is this factored with the fact that there is a finite limit to the amount of gold in existence that makes it so special and a common go-to during times of crisis such as that in Greece currently. Should their paper money become totally devalued, the markets all around the world will certainly quake and during times like that, gold stock prices shoot up during the panic as everyone is buying up gold. Fortunately, there is a finite number of mineable bitcoins and once they are in existence, rewards for discovering the solution to a given block will be zero making mining obsolete as the only method of accruing more  bitcoins would be via transaction fees. Well now that you’ve had a crash course in what Bitcoins are and how they’re worth, well, I’ll show you the market graph for the entirety of Bitcoins existence. Following from the beginning, you’ll see that it was quickly… Read More »A Day in the Mines – Is it Still Profitable?

Brownouts But No Blowouts!

We’ve had some instability here in the power for unknown reasons however the surge protection and massive UPS are doing exactly what they should be and keeping things moving without a hiccup. I love watching the network statistics not even miss a bit whenever we have issues like this! Just figured I’d mention the instability in the unlikely event we do go down, now you’d have a reason to the outage. LightSpeedTaco

Anime Integration

Hello everyone! It’s been a busy two weeks but I’ve pickup some slack and have a better handle on things now so I figured I’d make a post so you know I’m alive and kicking. First off, story time. There once was a boy who enjoyed his anime and had a vast collection. However one day, the boy was met with an unexpected disk failure. Being young and uneducated on the glory of RAID 6 and Network Attached Storage over an incredible network he suffered a great loss that day. Alas, all his accumulated anime was gone, never to be seen again. Until recently! I’ve begun to from memory pick up old anime I recall having in my collection and integrating what I can into the TV shows section of the Plex Server and so far so good! You’ll see a few titles popping up in the recently added. Some of the older content is difficult to index and subtitles are always a challenge for Plex but I’ve made most of it work so feel free to suggest or request anime titles you want to see on the server via the usual route of the contact me page and I’ll… Read More »Anime Integration
