Hey everyone, As you may have noticed, in the sidebar there’s a section linking to a Twitter account for the site/server. I was debating between this and a newsletter you can subscribe to however most people (like me) are probably already swamped with emails daily and don’t want another one to deal with every time I sneeze and Plex goes down. So I opted for the Twitter route. By following us you’ll get the quickest news about uptime and potential issues as well as reboots and such. Even without following us, checking our page on Twitter or the sidebar here will easily. I hope this comes in handy! LightSpeedTaco

Hey you know who you are! I’d give a shout out but I don’t want to give out any personal information but you know everyone at the shop is welcome and using the contact me page to join the bandwagon. Mention the shop name in the email and I’ll know who you are. If you need help signing up, follow the guide here. As mentioned on the server uptime page, during the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 PM EST the Plex Media Server lost its connection to the internet making it unavailable as a result. The root cause of the downtime is currently unknown but I am investigating logs to determine the cause and prevent further downtime from occurring. Thank you all for your patience. Hello everyone! Happy birthday to me! Asa treat I am currently in Niagara Falls and am semi away from my computer (eeek, I know) so any contact attempts may go unanswered until Wednesday when I return or even Thursday as it’s quite the trip from home sweet home. On the plus side I’ve been having a great time and will see what pictures I can post. Mean time, enjoy Plex. I gave everything a nice reboot and made sure nothing would cause trouble so you should have a bump free experience. Here’s the hotel’s pleb connection by the way. It burns.

Hey all, So if you mosey on down to the uptime page and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you’ll notice a countdown occurring. This signifies the time until the next system reboot or maintenance based on the text above the timer. Once this time reaches all zero then the indicated event will be in effect. So if there is downtime please as usual be sure to check the uptime page for details on ongoing events and schedules for downtime/reboots. That is all! Carry on, and don’t do this when the server isn’t up for a few minutes. LightSpeedTaco
