Hello everyone, Details will follow as they become available however expect downtime of he server for 24-48 hours as today marks the day that the Nobreaks Plex Media server takes a leap into the future and updates the core hardware that it resides on. I never expected to have as many users as my media server does but it’s gotten to a point where the current setup of my desktop which I use daily running Plex among other things in the background can keep up. As a result I’ve invested not only for you, the users but for myself as this is my passion. I’ve purchased some more heavy duty dedicated hardware which will be taking over from my PCs duties as facilitating all things Plex. That’s all for now, sorry for the downtime and lack of exact times and dates but I’m migrating roughly 14 terabytes of information to another system which will take some time at any network speed. Then the rebuilding of thumbnails and cached information will need to take place so bear with me but it’ll be worth it. LightSpeedTaco

Hey everyone, It’s been a while since I’ve posted, things have been busy here. Now, I’ve heard a few mentions of the server being slow. Well your voices have been heard. I’m proud to say that I’ve invested in a solution to centralize and speed up the media server to its greatest potential. Details will follow when the hardware arrives and things begin to get setup. Naturally there will be some downtime associated with these large changes however fear not I’ll do my best to get things back up and running ASAP. Its baaacckkkk! By popular demand the Minecraft server specifically for Nobreaks Plex Media Server users has returned. We have 25 slots available at the current time with room to expand. Whitelists are enforced so please contact me using the usual Contact Me page if you wish to be whitelisted. Access will be limited to those who I personally know to avoid griefing as I don’t want to have to use system resources on stacked up anti-griefing mods. Hope to see you online soon! Hello everyone, Last night Plex was down for an extended period of time without my knowledge and this was due to some confusion among the Multiplexor Adapter used by the system to mitigate network card failures. The main IP used by the system is MAC assigned by the router making for the wrong IP being assigned to an adapter not in the multiplexor adapter group. The issue has since been mitigated and all is well. My apologies for the downtime, usually my implemented monitoring software notifies me within seconds of failure however this one slipped through the net. I’ve since tightened monitoring up to avoid further issues. LightSpeedTaco
